Don't buy Dad the same old shirt or tie for Father's Day...bring him to the PIE AUCTION and buy him something he will really enjoy!

For those new to Zoar, a bit of explanation: for the past 10 years, we have had a pie auction, usually on Father's Day, here at Zoar. It is a fun time with a lot of lively bidding for delicious pies and a serious purpose. Often during the week people in need will stop at the church looking for help. From the funds raised at the auction and matching funds provided by Thrivent, Pastor Nick is able to give them a small helping hand.

So...search your recipes for your favorite pie and bring it for the auction, or prepare to purchase some of the beautiful, mouth-watering, taste-tempting confections that will be up for auction. But whatever you do, don't miss the PIE AUCTION following Worship on JUNE 20!

If you prefer not to make or buy a pie, monetary donations are also gratefully accepted and will count toward the matching funds. And remember, all funds raised go into Pastor Nick's emergency fund from which he helps people in need with vouchers for food, lodging, etc. For every $2 we raise, Thrivent will give us $1 in matching funds up to a maximum of $1,600.
