Zoar's Annual Pie Auction
 

Zoar Annual Pie Auction is a fun event with a serious purpose. Church members bring pies to sell and Pastor Nick uses the funds raised to assist needy individuals and families in our community whether it be helping them purchase groceries or paying a utility bill so they won't be without heat or lights.  This year $1,184 was raised through the pie sales.  Thrivent is matching $1,000 so Pastor Nick will have a total of $2,184.

It didn't take Herman long to decide!	Barbara was having great fun bidding -- until she realized her husband was bidding against her!
Bob & Ron look pretty serious about this strawberry cream pie.	And Karen can't believe how much Jim paid for his pie!
Looks like Matthew is ready to dig into Grandpa Nick's pies!	OK, Janette, I know you like cherry cream pie.  Doesn't this one look great?
It looks like this was to table for pie lovers.  Everyone has at least one pie and SOME bought quite a few more!  Oh well, there is always the freezer. It was a great day and we look forward to next year.
