YOUTH EDUCATION
Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.
Proverbs 22:6
Children's Message During Worship
Every Sunday morning during the Worship service, Pastor Michelle dedicates a few minutes to a special message for the children, and the young at heart. These focus on the scripture readings and help explain them in easy-to-understand language.
Sunday School
Sunday School immediately follows the Children's Message. This time includes more stories and activities that reinforce the message of the day. Children will rejoin their parents before the end of the worship service.
Youth Group Activities
The next activity of our Zoar Youth Group will be BINGO night on November 13 in the Narthex.
Rite of Conformation
Six of our young people (Rosie, Kayla, Connor, Alden, Cooper, and Paul) have completed two years of confirmation learning and will affirm their baptism during our Reformation Sunday worship service at 10:30 am on October 25.
After worship, we’ll celebrate with cake! Zoar’s Youth and Education Team will provide cards, and each youth will receive a confirmation gift from the congregation. If you’d like to bring personal cards for our six youth, you’re most welcome to do so!
