Be 2 Weeks Ready Training

On February 28, 2026, Zoar Lutheran Church in Canby and EcoFaith Recovery will host a Be 2 Weeks Ready ** disaster preparedness workshop from 10am-12pm.

The purpose of the training is to equip Zoar members, neighbors, other faith communities, and community members with a basic understanding and plan for a staying whole during a natural disaster. The workshop addresses what, specifically, individuals, families, and communities will need in case of disaster and offers easy-to-understand, digestible strategies for becoming two weeks ready.

The hybrid workshop is open to the public and offered free of charge.

The format of the workshop will be a presentation with Q&A. Participants will:

• Get a clear overview of the Be 2 Weeks Ready framework

• Begin outlining a basic two-weeks-ready plan for their own households

• Learn realistic, doable steps they can take over time without getting overwhelmed

• Identify ways to make their households and communities more resilient through relationship-building
