Building Support Packages for Local Farmworkers

After Worship Service on Sunday, January 4, members of Zoar Lutheran Church and Puentes Entre Culturas (Bridging Cultures) gathered to bundle cold and bad weather work clothes and other comfort items for local farmworkers.

The purchase of these items was supported by a $2,200 gift from the extended Zoar family raised last fall with our annual pie auction. This will provide packages for about 50 families.

Volunteers from Puentes Entre Culturas and Zoar will be out in the next several days distributing these packages.
